Such a busy day yesterday!! šŸš™šŸ˜


Started off at the Croydon Constructing Excellence Club at Sunley House—great to connect with others in the industry and hear from David Cheshire on regenerative design.šŸŒ³šŸŒŠšŸ”

We also talked about Google’s Bay View campus—their first ever purpose-built office. It’s a standout example of biophilic design: greenery, natural light, and outdoor views from every desk. Clerestory windows and automated shades adjust throughout the day to create a calm, comfortable environment. At PCC, we’re seeing this trend take off across office spaces. Just adding plants can boost wellbeing by up to 40%—a small change that makes a big difference! šŸƒ


And the roof šŸ˜ā€¦. Bay View features a stunning ā€˜dragonscale’ solar canopy made up of 50,000 overlapping panels. Beyond looking amazing, it helps manage glare, acoustics, and rainwater—contributing to some impressive sustainability goals.šŸ’ŖšŸ¼


Earlier in my career I worked in retail management and saw how hard facilities teams worked to make spaces more inclusive - which isn’t easy when adapting existing buildings. Now, being in a position where PC CONTRACTING LTD help businesses achieve that fresh, high-end fit outs feels incredibly rewarding.

It’s meaningful to know that our work directly contributes to creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and able to do their best, plus keeping sustainablešŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘©šŸ¼ā€šŸ’»ā˜•ļø.
